EA SPORTS Signs Elijah Haven, Alabama’s Newest Quarterback

The future of sport doesn’t start under stadium lights. It starts on practice fields. In late-night workouts. In the quiet moments before anyone is watching on and off the field. That’s where Elijah Haven is right now. 

Earlier this month, EA SPORTS welcomed Elijah to the GEN / EA SPORTS family, marking EA SPORTS’ first-ever high school football athlete signing. Today, we continue that momentum as Elijah announces his commitment to the University of Alabama to play college football. This isn’t about celebrating an athlete at the end of their career. It’s about backing what’s next.

Meet Elijah Haven

A rising high school senior and elite dual-sport athlete, Elijah is stepping into his next chapter with his recent commitment to Alabama and already rewriting record books.

A Louisiana state record holder and Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year, Elijah has established himself as the No. 1 QB prospect in the Class of 2027. Calm and confident, Elijah doesn't chase attention, he lets his play do the talking. 

But the stat sheet only tells part of his story. Off the field, Elijah brings the same focus and intentionality to everything he does. He’s a drummer with a deep love for rap and country music and a student of finance with an eye on building generational impact beyond the game. 

When asked about the legacy he hopes to leave, Elijah kept it simple: he wants to be  known as “a hardworking, selfless guy who knows what it takes to win.”

For the first time, EA SPORTS is showing up at the start of an athlete’s journey while it’s still being written, expanding GEN / EA SPORTS to support the next generation of athletes earlier than ever before.
