Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 2 Roadmap - Everything You Need to Know

February 12, 2026

TABLE OF CONTENTS:

Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 2

Pax Armata is winning the war.

Through the first season of the extended War of 2027, Fort Lyndon and its surrounding areas devolved into total chaos. As revealed by The Handler during the Winter Offensive, which Battlefield REDSEC players experienced through Gauntlet: Flashpoint, Pax Armata armed both sides of the Redacted Sector, activating sleeper agents while also using a shell company, Ironshore Logistics, to successfully bait The 323 with fully-loaded SCIFs. The 323 distracted their allies long enough to draw attention away from the Empire State, the source of key NATO intelligence… But also where the proof of Pax Armata’s financial sourcing lies.

This global conflict escalates through 2028, when Pax Armata successfully infiltrates Hagental Airbase in Bavaria. Dagger 1-3 veterans may recall Pax’s takeover of Mukhrovani Base: this dry run led to a successful incursion of a more centralized military installation in the Bavarian Alps. But out of all NATO's strongholds, why Hagental?

The answer lies in the aftermath of the Winter Offensive: Pax Armata knew NATO would eventually see through the Ironshore Logistics smokescreen and follow the money. However, Pax Armata’s strategy gave Panopticon 8, their elite intelligence unit specializing in clandestine operations, just enough time to find the retaliation plans hidden within a snowbound Kings County.

The only problem? These plans include extreme measures: experimental psychochemical smoke developed deep in Fort Lyndon and primed to clear out the Pax Armata advance.

Lock and load; now is time to fight the fog of war.

Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 2 begins on February 17 at 4 a.m. PT (12 p.m. UTC), as the war with Pax Armata crosses the globe and infiltrates the mountainsides of Germany in a grueling assault to reclaim a once owned NATO airbase.

Season 2 will be released in 3 phases: Extreme Measures, Nightfall, and Hunter/ Prey, featuring high-intensity maps, critical gadgets, iconic new hardware, and vehicles for waging the ultimate all-out war experience. Season 2 later sees the limited-time mode Operation Augur, where the stakes are high and strategy is crucial - driving squads to get to the frontline and secure the win.

The first phase for Season 2, Extreme Measures, takes the thrill of all-out war to another level, introducing VL-7 psychoactive smoke, distorting the battlefield with its non-lethal  hallucinogenic effects, as well as new expansive map Contaminated, to be released in Battlefield 6, along with 3 new weapons, 2 new gadgets, and the return of the legendary AH-6 Little Bird in both games. In addition to new Hardware, the free-to-play** REDSEC experience will also include limited-time modes where intense, mind-bending combat will test your squad to their limit.

The required Season 2 update (Game Update 1.2.1.0) for Battlefield 6 and REDSEC will also introduce hundreds of gameplay improvements, fixes, and individual updates: this includes weapon balance updates, such as widespread recoil tuning across automatic weapons, vehicle and gadget refinements, infantry movement and traversal fixes, polish passes on audio and UI, enhanced clarity for Progression, Portal stability and tuning updates, and general stability improvements.

Technical information about this patch will be published in the “Game Updates” section of our website here, prior to the launch of Season 2. We also encourage you to join us on the Battlefield official Discord server for additional Community Updates, as well as to find your squad for everything Season 2 has to offer.

With all that in mind, here is everything you need to know about Season 2, both in the Roadmap* and in between the lines, as we are excited to share additional content that supplements the major updates to come over the next three months.

NEW BATTLEFIELD 6 SEASON 2 LAUNCH CONTENT

Season 2 erupts onto the battlefield on February 17th, taking the thrill of all-out war to another level. This update introduces VL-7 psychoactive smoke, distorting the battlefield with its hallucinogenic effects, as well as new expansive map Contaminated, three new weapons, two new gadgets, and the return of the legendary AH-6 Little Bird.

NEW MAP: CONTAMINATED, SUPPORTING ALL COMBAT SIZES, LAND VEHICLES AND HELICOPTERS

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Contaminated map thumbnail featuring a mountainous military base beneath snow-dusted peaks, with bold “Season 2” and “Contaminated Map” branding framed by bright green UI accents.

Drop into the European mountainside and evade the psychoactive smoke filling the air. Wage all-out war across the crucial German airbase and grapple over the rocky terrain in this expansive battleground where crucial satellite intelligence is at stake. Both PAX and NATO will stop at nothing to ensure the territory is theirs.

First revealed in a Battlefield Labs Community Update on January 21, Contaminated falls between Eastwood and Mirak Valley in terms of size, and is comparable to classic Battlefield maps such as St. Quentin Scar (Battlefield 1) or Arras (Battlefield V). The Battlefield Labs community appreciated Contaminated’s intricate flanking routes during their recent test sessions, as well as the destructive power of the Scout Helicopter and other vehicles that can level the middle of the map.

Contaminated will be available both in the VL-7 Limited-Time Mode and in standard modes.

VL-7 STRIKE LIMITED-TIME MODE

Battlefield 6 Season 2 action screenshot showing a Little Bird helicopter hovering low over a dusty battlefield, with a door gunner firing while infantry advance below amid explosions, debris, and heavy combat.

Stay alert and go in fast. Clouds of a new psychoactive smoke, VL-7, infiltrate various areas in Multiplayer for a limited time, a result of NATO's new attack against Pax Armata. Load up on masks and filters or risk experiencing its disorienting effects.

VL-7 does not do any damage; instead, its hallucinatory effects will make any soldier second guess charging into it without a mask, allowing for unique strategic decisions that create new paths to victory. The VL-7 Strike Limited-Time Event will be a dedicated Multiplayer playlist featuring the new map Contaminated, which was tested through Battlefield Labs at the start of the new year. Regardless of Class, all soldiers will be given a mask to survive the VL-7, with additional masks and filters available around the map.

NEW REDSEC FREE-TO-PLAY CONTENT SEASON 2 LAUNCH CONTENT

Battlefield 6 Season 2 wide-scale action screenshot showing soldiers firing from a helicopter over a sprawling urban complex, as explosions, smoke clouds, parachuting troops, and aerial vehicles fill a gas-covered battlefield below.

Starting February 17th, REDSEC is infiltrated by the disorienting VL-7 psychoactive smoke. The Battle Royale mode is engulfed by this new weapon being developed in the Californian battleground of Fort Lyndon, where squads must loot masks and filters for survival. Season 2 also delivers new limited-time modes to REDSEC, leveraging the smoke and creating intense, mind-bending combat.

GAUNTLET ALTERED STATE LIMITED-TIME MODE

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Gauntlet mode action screenshot showing a squad of soldiers in gas masks pushing through a smoke-filled interior, weapons raised as they advance under intense orange lighting and close-quarters combat pressure.

Survive and advance in Gauntlet: a cutthroat, knockout-style elimination mode. Upgraded with new smoke features, squads need to race to complete missions whilst navigating the disorienting effects.

This Limited-Time Mode features the VL-7 smoke in Fort Lyndon, adding a psychoactive effect to the already deadly Gauntlet. Out in the field of a Gauntlet Altered State operation, VL-7 may be present around certain objectives, rewarding squads who can keep their head in the game long enough to rack up points.

BATTLE ROYALE - SYNTHESIS LIMITED-TIME MODE

Battlefield 6 Season 2 action screenshot showing a squad of soldiers advancing downhill toward the Fort Lyndon facility, with fencing, radar towers, and buildings partially obscured by swirling dust clouds and heavy battlefield haze.

Smoke engulfs Fort Lyndon, transforming the large-scale battleground. Engage in thrilling new warfare, fight amongst the psychoactive smoke, and loot masks and filters to withstand its devastating effects.

Given that Fort Lyndon is the manufacturing site for VL-7, Battle Royale players can find - or earn - a VL-7 Strike Package similar to calling in a smoke or mortar strike. In addition to player-designated strikes, VL-7 smoke may seep out of specific areas where synthesis went awry. Intel suggests that the VL-7 leaks are tied to high-value loot, so the risk of braving its effects may be worth the rewards of a better loadout…

NEW BATTLEFIELD 6 AND REDSEC SHARED SEASON 2 LAUNCH CONTENT

Through a brand-new Battle Pass, all players can unlock three weapons - a Designated Marksman Rifle, an Assault Rifle, and an LMG - a new launcher gadget for the Engineer Class, and a new suppression system gadget for the Recon Class. That’s not to mention new challenges, Portal Updates and the re-introduction of the small, yet notoriously mighty, aerial vehicle.

NEW VEHICLE: SCOUT HELICOPTER - AH-6 LITTLE BIRD (NATO) / MH-350 (PAX ARMATA)

Battlefield 6 Season 2 vehicle showcase featuring the MH-350 light helicopter displayed in a hangar, highlighting its compact frame, mounted rocket pods, skid landing gear, and tactical reconnaissance role.

Very effective at engaging infantry and light vehicles. Increased maneuverability comes at the cost of greater vulnerability to fire.

This legendary attack helicopter is back.

Scope out the battlefield from above and strike down enemy lines with this versatile chopper for NATO forces. Alternatively, Pax Armata has access to a quick, agile, and destructive force known as the MH-350.

The Scout Helicopter is best in the hands of an expert pilot, as its fragile frame leaves it susceptible to damage compared to its larger counterparts. However its sheer firepower - from miniguns to the underrated grenade launchers - makes this bird of prey into a deadly glass cannon.

NEW DESIGNATED MARKSMAN RIFLE: GRT-CPS

— Battlefield 6 Season 2 equipment showcase featuring the GRT-CPS rifle laid out on a workbench, with tactical attachments, spare magazines, loose ammunition, and tools highlighting its modular, modern combat design.

A traditional counterpart to the GRT-BC, this intermediate rifle in a marksman configuration trades damage for controllability and increased ammo capacity.

Fast-firing, accurate, and able to feed on large magazine attachments, the GRT-CPS demands your full attention to wrestle its recoil to manageable levels. Those who tame this beast will unlock the maximum potential of its mid-to-long-range damage profile, suited for squad wipes in Fort Lyndon, Contaminated, or in any situation that calls for longshots in quick succession.

NEW ASSAULT RIFLE: VCR-2

Battlefield 6 Season 2 weapon showcase of the VCR-2 assault rifle laid out on a workbench, highlighting its compact bullpup-style design, mounted optic, polymer magazine, and surrounding loose ammunition and tools.

Originating from the Balkans, this high fire rate bullpup is the perfect rifle for close-quarters engagements.

A rival to the popular KORD 6P67, the VCR-2 can be best described as an SMG acting as an Assault Rifle, able to pulverize targets up-close with a blistering rate of fire and high-caliber bullets. However, any soldier knows the consequences of too much firepower: the recoil is a recruit-level trap, demanding a steady counterbalance in order to make it effective at longer ranges.

NEW LIGHT MACHINE GUN: M121 A2

Battlefield 6 Season 2 weapon showcase featuring the MG53 machine gun on a workbench, highlighting its belt-fed drum magazine, heavy barrel, reinforced stock, and surrounding loose ammunition and maintenance tools.

This powerful general-purpose machine gun excels at closer ranges but can extend its reach with competent recoil and trigger management.

Sensing a theme with Season 2’s new weapons? The M121 A2’s rate of fire is on the high end of its category with a solid standard magazine size. Built for wiping squads, this LMG may have a slightly longer reload cycle and heavier recoil than its peers, but is highly effective for dealing direct damage or suppression in the hands of a capable Support Class soldier.

NEW ENGINEER GADGET: 9K38 IGLA ACTIVE LOCKING AIR-DEFENSE LAUNCHER

Battlefield 6 Season 2 weapon showcase featuring the SA-18 Igla surface-to-air missile launcher laid out on a workbench, with mounted optics, long launch tube, and surrounding ammunition, magazines, and military gear.

A man-portable air-defense system designed to target enemy aircraft. Requires lock-on before launch, after which the user must maintain target acquisition by tracking the aircraft with the weapon sight to preserve missile guidance. Missiles can reacquire targets mid-flight if tracking is lost or countermeasures are deployed.

An Engineer’s new best friend, the 9K38 IGLA is a harmonious balance between the Aim-Guided and Lock-On Launchers, requiring slightly more attention than the standard Air-Defense Launcher. Even if an enemy aircraft flies out of range or uses its flares, continuing to aim down sight directly at the aircraft will allow the 9K38 IGLA’s missile to lock back onto it.

Outside of situations with aerial vehicles, this Active Locking Air-Defense Launcher is able to lock-on to other targets marked by Recon Gadgets such as the Laser Designator.

NEW RECON GADGET: HTI-MK2 HARDWARE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Battlefield 6 Season 2 weapon showcase featuring the HTI Mk2 on a workbench, highlighting its bullpup-style body, mounted optic, box magazines, and surrounding tactical equipment and tools.

When equipped, the Hardware Suppressor System spots all nearby electronic and explosive gadgets as well as targets in the middle of a locked-on process. Take aim and activate the device to intercept missiles and destroy electronic gadgets, up to a total of three combined.

Leaning into the Recon Class’ Spec Ops Training Path, the HTI-MK2 is a pure disruption tool. With the ability to directly counter up to three enemy Gadgets, a well-targeted pulse can collapse a well-placed defense or prevent a potential advance. Note the recharging time needed between pulses and the three total Hardware limit per pulse, as the Hardware Suppression System cannot single-handedly destroy an overly-crowded Hardware stockpile, but multiple soldiers can coordinate and use them in rapid succession for a devastating effect.

NEW SEASON 2 CHALLENGES - SEASON 1 CATCH-UP HARDWARE

Battlefield 6 Season 2 weapon showcase featuring the GGH22 pistol laid out on a workbench, with spare magazines, loose ammunition, and tactical tools arranged on a dark fabric surface to highlight its compact sidearm design.

Battlefield 6 and REDSEC is open to all players no matter when they become a part of our community. Those who joined us for Season 1 had the first opportunity to unlock all free functional content. With that in mind, we want new players to feel they can “catch-up” to the competition and still have access to all free functional content introduced from Season 1 onwards.

The fastest way to get all new free functional Hardware content at the start of each season will be to earn it through that season’s Battle Pass Free Tiers. The Battle Pass is your first opportunity to unlock this new, free functional Hardware, as well as a host of additional rewards including Weapon Packages, both for new weapons introduced at season launch and other weapons, Character Skins, and Customization Items, not to mention Battlefield Coins (BFC) and XP Boosts.

However, in order to welcome new players no matter when they join us on the Battlefield, Season 2 will introduce the first Catch-Up Challenge Set. At each season’s launch, players can unlock the free, functional content introduced in the previous Season’s Battle Pass through this new Challenge Set.

For Season 2, players unlock the Season 1 Catch-Up Challenge Set at Career Rank 20. The following Hardware introduced in Season 1 can be unlocked (full details available in-game):

  • GGH-22 SIDEARM
    • Deal damage from a distance of 25 meters or less.
    • Kills and assists with Grenades.
  • MINI SCOUT SNIPER RIFLE (unlocked after completing the GGH-22 SIDEARM CHALLENGES)
    • Kill enemies with secondary weapons. Headshot kills count double.
    • Deal damage with secondary weapons or Gadgets.
  • SOR-300C CARBINE RIFLE (unlocked after completing the MINI SCOUT SNIPER RIFLE CHALLENGES)
    • Kill enemies with Sniper Rifles.
    • Get headshot kills.

This new Challenge set is in addition to the Season 1 Hardware Challenges that includes the M357 Trait Sidearm, the DB-12 Shotgun, and three attachments for multiple weapons.

The other new weapon, the NOMAD CX-12 Ice Axe, will be re-introduced later in Season 2 for those who did not earn it in the Winter Offensive Bonus Path. More information about this melee weapon will be revealed during the season.

YEAR OF THE HORSE CHALLENGES

Battlefield 6 Lunar New Year “Ambition” weapon skin showcase featuring an ornate rifle with red, black, and gold detailing, dragon motifs, and decorative accents, displayed on a workbench alongside matching magazines and shotgun shells.

From February 17, the launch date of Season 2, to March 3, celebrate the Year of the Horse with special in-game challenges, themed rewards, and limited-time bundles. Bring the fireworks – and firepower – to the battlefield and get rewarded.

Learn more about the Year of the Horse here.

SEASON 2 LAUNCH PORTAL UPDATES

At Season 2 Launch all Portal Creators will have access to all hardware included in the Season 1 Battle Pass. Battlefield 6 owners will also have access to the new Contaminated map.

SEASON 2 PHASE 2: NIGHTFALL, LAUNCHING MARCH 17

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Dark Update gameplay scene showing two soldiers in night-vision gear advancing through a dimly lit, teal-tinted environment at Hagental Base, weapons raised as they move cautiously through low-visibility conditions.

Later in March, it’s lights out across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.

Nightfall, the second phase of Season 2, continues the story of Pax Armata in Battlefield 6 as they advance into Hagental Base. Meanwhile, REDSEC will get a taste of Hagental Base as part of a limited-time Gauntlet Mode, as well as a brand new “point of interest” when the underground tunnels of Fort Lyndon are unlocked…

NEW BATTLEFIELD 6 SEASON 2 NIGHTFALL IN-SEASON CONTENT

The fight doesn’t stop when the lights go out. Under the cover of darkness or the bright lights that welcome chaotic infantry-based combat, prepare to infiltrate Hagental Base.

NEW MAP: HAGENTAL BASE, SUPPORTING INFANTRY-ONLY MODES

Battlefield 6 Season 2 loading screen image of Hagental Base, showing a large underground industrial facility with machinery, catwalks, stairways, and dramatic overhead lighting illuminating a suspended missile component.

Plunge beneath the mountains and prepare for gripping underground close-quarters combat. Flank through tunnels, cave the ceilings in, or lurk in the shadows for an unexpected ambush.

Advancing the narrative of the War of 2027, this base is crucial to the success of Pax Armata’s advance or the breaking point that can fracture the entire faction. The inspiration for Hagental Base comes from Battlefield’s history of underground operations - Metro and Locker - as well as other memories from Battlefield 3: Close Quarters expansion and Hardline. With plenty of flanking routes and destructible environment pieces, Hagental Base demands intense focus across the entire squad, with an emphasis on gadgets that take advantage of this enclosed space.

NIGHTFALL LIMITED-TIME MODE

Battlefield 6 Season 2 action screenshot showing two soldiers in night-vision and gas masks advancing through a dark interior at Hagental Base, rifles raised as powerful flashlights cut through smoke and low visibility during close-quarters combat.

Step into the shadows. Hagental Base has been transformed into a corridor of darkness, where visibility is low and night vision gadgets are vital for survival.

All combatants will have night vision goggles as a free gadget similar to the mask Gadget to come with the VL-7 Limited-Time Mode. NVGs recharge over time and can cut through darkness, but light sources - e.g. an overhead fixture or an enemy’s flashlight - can effectively blind the user. Thermal scopes and flashlights are also potential options for navigating through the darkness, so be prepared to work with your squad to combine these solutions and move with precision, caution, and strategy.

NEW REDSEC SEASON 2 NIGHTFALL IN-SEASON CONTENT

Move with caution.

When Nightfall comes in Season 2, Fort Lyndon will be expanded beneath the surface with Defense Testing Complex 3, a brand-new point of interest. Rather test your tactics in Hagental Base? Then enter the limited-time Gauntlet: Nightfall, enhanced with new darkness features where night vision goggles are vital to push ahead and secure the win.

GAUNTLET: NIGHTFALL LIMITED-TIME MODE

Battlefield 6 Season 2 environment screenshot showing a large underground tunnel facility with arched concrete ceilings, industrial machinery, containers, vehicles, and steam vents, lit by cool blue-green lighting that emphasizes scale and atmosphere.

This is no ordinary Gauntlet: based on the new Battlefield 6 map Hagental Base, this limited-time mode will test your teamwork, precision, and - with the introduction of darkness - the use of NVGs, flashlights, and thermal attachments to cut through both the dead of night and the deadly competition.

Gauntlet: Nightfall will use only a select pool of operations, such as Vendetta and Contract, that best fit the intricate abandoned base. Also, the limited-time mode will not use the standard Squad size. But if you love more tactical experiences in the Battlefield universe, then don’t be afraid of the dark and prepare for the thrill of Nightfall.

DEFENSE TESTING COMPLEX 3 - NEW FORT LYNDON POI

Battlefield 6 Season 2 gameplay scene showing three soldiers exiting a fortified building, weapons ready, as they move into a sunlit exterior area with solar panels, concrete structures, and drifting battlefield smoke.

Drop down and conceal your squad. A new underground testing facility will open up beneath the surface of Fort Lyndon: a network of tunnels, ideal for traversing the massive Californian battleground in secrecy.

In addition to providing a covert route through portions of the map, Testing Complex 3 includes plenty of chests, abandoned from those who once defended this site, that can bolster your loadout. However, most of the complex’s access points are sealed off, making the rappel lines the only escape means when the circle of death closes in…

NEW BATTLEFIELD 6 AND REDSEC SEASON 2 NIGHTFALL IN-SEASON CONTENT

The return of two Hardware pieces from Battlefield’s past - the dirt bike and CZ3A1 SMG - as well as a new sidearm, additional attachments, a Bonus Path, and Portal additions are set to complete this mid-season update:

NEW VEHICLE: DIRT BIKE - HAYES M1030-1 (NATO) and TM/O 450 (Pax Armata)

Battlefield 6 Season 2 vehicle showcase featuring the M1030-M1 military motorcycle, displayed in a studio setting with rugged off-road tires, reinforced frame, twin headlights, and desert-tan finish designed for fast battlefield mobility.

What happens when a motorbike is fed jet fuel? The Dirt Bike, to be available for both factions of the War of 2027 as part of the Season 2 Nightfall update.

This motorbike will be the fastest land vehicle in the game, at the cost of leaving its operator - and its backseat passenger - completely exposed to the elements of the battlefield.

NEW SUBMACHINE GUN: CZ3A1

Battlefield 6 Season 2 weapon showcase featuring the Scorpion EVO 3 A1 submachine gun laid out on a workbench, highlighting its compact tactical design, top rail, polymer magazine, folding stock, and surrounding tools and loose ammunition.

Battlefield 4 veterans know the power of the CZ3A1 SMG. Overwhelming in terms of fire rate - over 1,000 RPM - and recoil, this aggressive close-quarters tool is great for quickly eliminating threats at close range.

NEW SIDEARM: VZ.61

Battlefield 6 Season 2 weapon showcase featuring the VZ.61 submachine gun with wooden grip and compact folding design, displayed on a workbench alongside curved magazines, loose ammunition, and tactical gear.

Sidearms will no longer be a choice between semi-automatic pistols and revolvers after the VZ.61 rips into the category for the Nightfall Update. Like its SMG counterpart, this compact machine pistol sacrifices accuracy for a high rate of fire, making it most effective in close quarters.

NEW ADDITIONAL ATTACHMENTS

Alongside two new weapons, except several free additional attachments - including a light-and-laser underbarrel combo and a hybrid sight combining a standard red dot optic and a thermal scope - to be unlocked via challenges. These attachments, much like the Rail Cover and Slim Handstop, are great ways to remix a favorite weapon from launch, or a new favorite released in Season 1 or 2.

SEASON 2 NIGHTFALL PORTAL UPDATES

At Nightfall launch, expect several quality of life improvements to the Portal SDK Tool, as well as a scripted camera that can allow for unique in-game perspectives in Custom Experiences.

NIGHTFALL BONUS PATH

Get the most out of Nightfall through the limited-time Bonus Path to be released in-season, which includes the new CZ3A1 SMG, several Customization Rewards, and a Battle Pass XP Boost as free rewards. Battle Pass owners can also unlock a Weapon Package primed to shoot the lights out, as well as a Soldier Skin and additional Customization Rewards.

SEASON 2 PHASE 3: HUNTER / PREY, LAUNCHING APRIL 14

Battlefield 6 Season 2 action screenshot showing soldiers in gas masks advancing through a forested combat zone during Contaminated Operations, with tanks, explosions, drifting smoke, and debris creating a chaotic battlefield backdrop.

Be the hunter, not the hunted.

The final phase of Season 2 - Hunter / Prey - features the limited-time Operation Augur in Battlefield 6, as well as a new vehicle, melee weapon and other content all to be released on April 12, 2026.

OPERATION AUGUR LIMITED-TIME MODE (BATTLEFIELD 6)

Tying together the full narrative of Season 2, Operation Augur puts you in the boots of Pax Armata or NATO to determine the fate of Hagental Base.

NEW VEHICLE: LTV

The Traverser Mark II had its head-start: when it comes time for Hunter / Prey, the LTV - Light Tactical Vehicle - will challenge the light vehicle category as a nimbler option that still offers solid protection.

NEW MELEE WAPON: KAPOK 14” MACHETE

This isn’t a knife, it’s a legendary blade for true hunters…

Similar to the NOMAD CX-12 Ice Axe, the KAPOK 14” Machete is an alternative version of the standard melee offerings, granting its wielder new takedowns that can carve an enemy up.

SEASON 2 HUNTER / PREY PORTAL UPDATES

The final major Season 2 Portal Update introduces two new Verified Modes, one for REDSEC and one for Battlefield 6.

Free for all players, Battle Royale Duos will be available as a verified mode with Hunter / Prey. In addition to Battle Royale Duos, Battlefield 6 owners can also create their own verified Escalation experiences as of this update.

HUNTER / PREY BONUS PATH

Similar to previous Bonus Paths, specifically Winter Offensive, expect the Hunter / Prey Bonus Path to reward customization rewards and the new melee weapon, the Machete. Battle Pass owners will have access to additional items in the Bonus Path for maximum value.
