SEASON 1

Ultimate Team is back for College Football 27! Season 1 sets the tone for an epic year of college football, so that you can establish the foundation of your roster with new events packed full of rewards you won’t want to miss. Check out Legends, Cornerstones, Sunday Spotlight, and more with a full slate of rewards to kick off the year.

CROSSOVER CONTENT

Kick off the season with a throwback to College Football 26. If you worked your way up the Season 9 Field Pass and earned a Crossover James Harrison Champion, you’ll get an 85 OVR version of this player item in College Football 27 when you log in. Same with Hail Mary Packs and other Crossover rewards–if you earned them in College Football 26, you’ll get those packs in your account in the new game too.

CORE LEGENDS

103 Core Legends will be available on day 1 of Early Access, the largest drop of Legends players in College Football history. Look for some of your favorite players from throughout the history of the sport and create a strong foundation for your roster before worldwide launch. These are different from regular Legends players, but they are separated into the same eras as Legends players and have synergy with those player items.

ULTIMATE TEAM PROGRAMS

COUNTDOWN

Get a head start during Early Access with daily rewards, exclusive player content, and the debut of Countdown Draft. Through daily Countdown lockers that open on July 9, daily mini drops, and a dedicated Field Pass, you can start building before anyone else!

The Countdown Draft gives you a first look at Countdown players as you draft them to play alongside the rest of your roster in either Solo games or a gauntlet of H2H matchups. The more wins you get, the better your final rewards will be!

Earn Countdown Tokens through Challenges, Events, Field Pass and H2H modes and redeem them for highly coveted player item rewards.

SUNDAY SPOTLIGHT

Get a dose of nostalgia with this new retro, pixel art-infused nod to the football video games of yesteryear. Don’t miss weekly player releases, arcade-style challenges, and unique gameplay experiences throughout the event. 

Complete the Video Labyrinth challenges to earn a Retro Cartridge Token, which lets you enter a special “College Blitz” event to compete to earn the highest battle score possible and snag more rewards. Get a High Score Token at the end of each week to collect and exchange for the Collection Champion Devin Hester item.

LEGENDS

A recurring multi-season event, Legends celebrates the icons who shaped college football across every era. Look for weekly drops featuring Classic, Millennium, and Modern greats that bring unique lineup boosts to your team.

Through era-based team building, milestone-inspired objectives, and competitive events like King of the Hill, honor some of football’s greatest careers while earning exclusive rewards and commemorative alternate uniforms.

Each release of LEGENDS will have separate “Legends” based on Eras:

• Classic Legends = Pre-1995
• Millenium Legends = 1995-2005
• Modern Legends = Post-2005

CORNERSTONES

Introducing six Cornerstone Players that can serve as the foundation of any Ultimate Team, Cornerstones gives you the freedom to develop your roster through personalized progression paths and evolving playstyles.

Inspired by the journey of building a college football legacy, Cornerstones rewards long-term investment as players grow their players into centerpiece stars capable of anchoring a championship-caliber lineup.

Choose from 1 of 6 Cornerstones Captains, each of which has a different Gem Affinity. All the player items released during Cornerstones will also have a Gem Affinity that boosts their stats if their Cornerstones Captain is in the lineup and has the same Gem Affinity. Once these players are upgraded, Gem Affinity can also boost players based on position groups, even with player items from other programs.
