College Football 27 Top 25 Poll - Week 5

October 6, 2026

WHAT IS THE TOP 25 POLL

Each week of the regular season, the College Football 27 Top 25 poll will be updated in-game to reflect the performances from last week’s slate. This poll is a unique ranking list straight from the College Football 27 studio. Hop into CFB27 today, and play as some of the biggest movers from this past week!

BIGGEST MOVERS

Oklahoma State

  • Sometimes all you gotta do to get ahead is just…not lose. Oklahoma State might have been on a bye in Week 5, but they took full advantage of some of their Top 25 opponents’ losses and ranking drops. Thanks to losses to teams like Iowa, MIssissippi State, and SMU tumbling down our rankings, the Cowboys jumped four spots ahead of next week’s matchup with UCF.

Oregon

  • It wasn’t just Oklahoma State that benefited from the bye, Oregon also took the week off and saw a nice three-spot boost in our rankings after teams like Florida and others took a tumble. The Ducks are also coming off a major win against USC last week, and are primed to welcome UCLA to Eugene next weekend.

Tennessee

  • The Tennessee Volunteers did NOT have a bye this week, and they bounced back from their tight loss to Texas and defeated the Auburn Tigers 24-14. This hard-fought home victory came on the back of a dominant ground game from running back DeSean Bishop, who racked up 220 yards and three touchdowns.
