College Football 27 Top 25 Poll - Week 7

October 20, 2026

WHAT IS THE TOP 25 POLL

Each week of the regular season, the College Football 27 Top 25 poll will be updated in-game to reflect the performances from last week’s slate. This poll is a unique ranking list straight from the College Football 27 studio. Hop into CFB27 today, and play as some of the biggest movers from this past week!

BIGGEST MOVERS

BYU

  •  Brigham Young University kept their undefeated season alive and put the smackdown on one of the highest-ranked teams in all of college football: the University of Notre Dame. The Cougars jumped NINE spots on our rankings to hit #2 after QB Bear Bachmeier threw his only passing touchdown of the game with just two minutes left on the clock. The BYU defense, led by LB Cade Uluave and his 9 tackles, held strong and kept Notre Dame out of the end zone to close out the big win.

LSU

  • It’s one thing to win, it’s another to beat another ranked opponent by such a margin that you send them tumbling out of the rankings and fly up five spaces yourself. That’s just what LSU did as they beat conference rivals Mississippi State 31-0 in Baton Rouge. Tigers QB Sam Leavitt was on fire, tossing for 289 yards and a whopping four passing touchdowns, while the LSU defense kept the Bulldogs out of the end zone the entire game.

Several +4

  • It’s hard to pick just one team to highlight, because we had so many risers this week–including three separate teams who jumped four spots in our rankings. Ole Miss sent Missouri tumbling down the rankings and boosted themselves with a 31-3 win, Wake Forest did the same with a 41-7 win over Cal, while USC didn’t even play this week but gained their four spots simply due to their opponents’ defeats.
