October 23, 2026

The spooky season has officially arrived in EA SPORTS™ College Football Mobile, and it brings along a candy pail full of new rewards, challenges, and a frighteningly fortified featured player in Randy Moss!

With more rewards and challenges than you can stuff into a haunted mansion, let’s check out the best of what Nightmares has to offer!

Moss Is The Boss

Welcome to Nightmares pop-up screen in College Football 27 Mobile offering a free 68 OVR Randy Moss card and event instructions.

We’re switching things up on you a bit for the Nightmares event with our featured player Randy Moss!

As soon as you log in, you can accept a 68 OVR Randy Moss card to kick off the brand-new Nightmares event.

This is not just any standard player card, Randy Moss features a unique upgrade path that allows you to take him all the way from a 1-Star up to a game-changing 5-Star card.

As you upgrade his OVR tiers and rarity, he unlocks powerful lineup boosts.

Early on, Moss boosts all Nightmares event players, but once fully maxed out, his boost applies to every single player on your entire roster.

Upgrading Randy Moss requires a resource called Nightmare Fuel. You can acquire Nightmare Fuel by completing daily event challenges, finishing specific event goals, and completing roster trades.

It is crucial to manage your time and resources, as these powerful boosts carry specific expiration dates.

The boosts for the 3-Star 81+ OVR Moss expire on November 18, while the final two maxed-out 90 OVR versions retain their roster boosts until December 2.

Surprise, This IS A Drill!

Mossy Drills are your daily gateway to upgrading Randy Moss during the EA SPORTS™ College Football Mobile Nightmares event!

Players will work their way through three drill tiers, Abyssal, Harrowing, and Eternal, to earn Points, Tokens, and random player cards for trades, with the higher difficulties offering better drop rates and rewards.

For this event, your Nightmares players are split across these three distinct factions, and each faction boasts 17 unique players to collect.

Keep your calendar marked for upcoming content drops throughout the event, with even more fresh Nightmares players arriving on October 26 and October 31.

By completing at least five Mossy Drills each day, you’ll be able to secure the vital Nightmare Fuel required to level up Randy Moss and unlock his elite stats.

Hanging In The Haunted Campus

To navigate through the spooky spiderwebs of the Haunted Campus Journey Map, you’ll have to complete a variety of challenges in order to gather Nightmare Stamina, which you’ll spend to unlock and play challenges across the Map!

New goals arrive freshly every day, so make sure you’ve conquered them all for the day before checking out, you’ll thank yourself for the extra boost of stamina!

Clearing the journey awards valuable items along the path, but spectral whispers and ghastly rumors suggest something very powerful and strange awaits at the very end if you keep your eyes open.
