EA SPORTS™ College Football 27 Mobile - Patch Notes August 4th

A new update for EA SPORTS™ College Football Mobile is rolling out now, packing a long list of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.

We want to give a huge thanks to our dedicated community who raised many of these issues initially, as well as giving detailed bug reports and helping us identify exactly what needed to be addressed.

Below you can find a list of all the fixes and changes in the latest version of EA SPORTS™ College Football Mobile.

  • Low Storage Download Crash: Fixed a crash caused by receiving a "Low Storage" pop-up during initial resource downloads on devices with insufficient space.
  • Performance Optimization: Adjusted background LODs (Level of Detail) to improve overall game performance.
  • Gameplay Stability: Resolved a crash that occurred intermittently during gameplay.
  • Crowd Loop Audio: Resolved a bug where crowd audio failed to loop, leaving the crowd completely silent once the initial effect finished.
  • Crowd Transition Smoothing: Smooth transitions between low and high-intensity crowd sounds have been restored, eliminating the noticeable ~1-second pause during audio switches.
  • FTUE Performance: Eliminated gameplay hitches in the First Time User Experience (FTUE) nodes after switching to the Miami stadium.
  • Helpshift/Chatbot iOS Crash: Resolved an iOS-specific crash that occurred when creating a Helpshift case or interacting with the chatbot.

The latest update is rolling out now, so keep an eye out for the update notification in your app store, and update your app to the latest version as soon as you’re able.
