WHAT IS THE TOP 25 POLL

Each week of the regular season, the College Football 27 Top 25 poll will be updated in-game to reflect the performances from last week’s slate. This poll is a unique ranking list straight from the College Football 27 studio. Hop into CFB27 today, and play as some of the biggest movers from this past week!

BIGGEST MOVERS

Ole Miss Rebels

  • What a way to kick off conference play! Ole Miss came out flying against a strong LSU team led by their former coach, going up 24-7 by halftime. The Tigers tried to make a comeback, but the Rebels ultimately overwhelmed them 32-24 to make the highest leap (+5) on our rankings this week. Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss threw for 363 yards and two touchdowns, while the strong Rebel defense was led by safety Sharif Denson, whose 8 total tackles helped keep the Tigers at bay.

Alabama Crimson Tide

  • Despite a slow start, the Tide rolled over the Florida State Seminoles to score a statement win before they kick off conference play. QB Keelon Russell threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns, along with 56 yards and another touchdown on the ground. Standout WR Lotzeir Brooks didn’t get in the end zone himself, but he did haul in 8 catches for 101 yards to set the Crimson Tide up for success. Even though it took them a little while to get going, once Alabama took the lead, they didn’t give it back as they finished off Florida State 50-36 and jumped up three spots in our rankings.

Louisville Cardinals

  • From unranked to #20 says a lot, but that’s just how good the Cardinals were in their conference home opener against the SMU Mustangs. In a thrilling matchup that featured a whopping SEVEN lead changes, the Cardinals focused on the ground game and made the most of every opportunity. RB Keyjuan Brown ran for 163 yards and touchdowns, and the Louisville defense came up with two massive fourth down stops to propel themselves to #20 and send the Mustangs tumbling out of our rankings altogether.
