September 29, 2026

WHAT IS THE TOP 25 POLL

Each week of the regular season, the College Football 27 Top 25 poll will be updated in-game to reflect the performances from last week’s slate. This poll is a unique ranking list straight from the College Football 27 studio. Hop into CFB27 today, and play as some of the biggest movers from this past week!

BIGGEST MOVERS

Florida

  • In a week packed with upsets and exciting results, the Florida Gators welcomed the Ole Miss Rebels to Gainesville and promptly demolished them in front of a raucous home crowd. The Gators’ running game showed their teeth on Saturday as RB Jaden Baugh ran riot over the visitors with 142 yards and three touchdowns, while his teammate RB Duke Clark snatched another 126 yards and a score. Ole Miss pushed hard for a comeback, but the Gators defense held strong for a 52-28 finish (and a 10-spot leap in our rankings).

Mississippi State

  • Speaking of Mississippi, the Bulldogs leapt seven spots in the rankings with a statement win of their own against Mizzou. After going into the 4th quarter down by seven, Mississippi State QB Kamario Taylor (who racked up 360 total passing yards) pulled the Bulldogs ahead with a 24-yard pass with less than four minutes on the clock. The defense held stout against a late Tigers offensive push to finish 31-24.

Houston

  • The Houston Cougars also jumped five spots in our rankings after a trip to Georgia Southern finished with a 42-28 win. Cougars QB Connor Weigman completely took over this one, throwing for four touchdowns and running in two more as the Eagles defense failed to neutralize his explosive talents. Houston went from just squeaking into our rankings to planting their flag firmly in the top 20.
