EA SPORTS FC™ 27 launches globally on 25 September 2026, with three editions based on how you want to play. Whether you’re looking to start early, build your Football Ultimate Team™ from day one, or jump in at launch, there’s an edition for you. 

Choose from the Ultimate Plus Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Standard Edition. Every edition includes the full EA SPORTS FC™ 27 experience, with the Ultimate Plus Edition and Ultimate Edition also giving you up to 7 days early access and additional in-game content. 

Players can also try EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Lite, a free-to-download limited preview of the game available on launch day.

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition is designed for Football Ultimate Team™ players who plan to start building their club before launch day.  It includes up to 7 days early access, the most FC Points and Premium Passes from the editions available, and more. 

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition will only be available during the early bird pre-order window from 23 July 2026 - 31 August 2026.

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition is for players who want more pre-order content than the Standard Edition and up to 7 days early access. 

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition will first be available during the early bird window from 23 July 2026 - 31 August 2026. Players who pre-order during the early bird window will receive the entire pre-order content package, a 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item and a 93+ OVR ICON 1 of 4 Player Pick for EA SPORTS FC™ 26. 

After the early bird window ends, EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition will remain available for pre-order from 31 August 2026 - 24 September 2026. Pre-orders during this time will grant a 93+ OVR ICON Player Pick for EA SPORTS FC™ 26, along with the other content listed below.

It will then be available for regular purchase from 25 September 2026 onwards.

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Lite will be available on 25 September 2026, 16:00 UTC for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

What is the new Ultimate Plus Edition?

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition is designed for Football Ultimate Team™ players and includes the most pre-order content of any edition, including up to 7 days Early Access, the most FC Points and Premium Passes available., 

Will the EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus, Ultimate, and Standard Editions be available on all platforms?

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition will be available across EA App, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition will only be available during the early bird window from 23 July 2026 - 31 August 2026, and will not be available on Nintendo platforms or the Epic Games Store. 

When will I receive my FC Points if I purchase the Ultimate Plus Edition or Ultimate Edition?

If you purchase the Ultimate Plus Edition or Ultimate Edition, you will receive your first points grant when you first log in to EA SPORTS FC™ 27. After that, additional FC Point drops will be given on the 15th of each month.

If you don’t log in right away, you’ll still receive your FC Points grants you’re eligible for the next time you log in.

• For the Ultimate Plus Edition, you must complete the steps to obtain the initial FC Points distribution by 1 June, 2027 to receive all 10,000 FC Points. If you redeem after 26 September, 2027, you will not receive any FC Points.
• For the Ultimate Edition, you must complete the steps to obtain the initial FC Points distribution by 1 August, 2027 to receive all 6,000 FC Points. If you redeem after 26 September, 2027, you will not receive any FC Points. 

Which Premium Passes are included in the Ultimate and Ultimate Plus editions?

The Ultimate Edition includes the Season 1 Pass, while Ultimate Plus Edition includes passes for Seasons 1 to 5. 

Can I upgrade my copy of EA SPORTS FC™ 27 from PlayStation®4 to PlayStation®5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S?

Yes, you may upgrade your copy of EA SPORTS FC™ 27 from PlayStation®4 to PlayStation®5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S at no additional cost. 

Please note that some features may vary by platform. For example, The Grounds will not be available on PlayStation®4 or Xbox One, so any content connected to The Grounds will only be accessible on supported platforms. 

Can I upgrade from EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition to EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition?

No, you will not be able to upgrade from EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition to EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition.
