EA SPORTS™ F1® 25: 2026 SEASON PACK DRIVER RATINGS – JUNE UPDATE
June 22, 2026

Driver Ratings are receiving an update today in the F1® 25: 2026 Season Pack. The new ratings are based on performances from the opening races through to the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026. In this post, you’ll learn how the ratings have changed for some of the driver legends on the grid, as well as how the rating system works.
What are Driver Ratings?
The teams at EA SPORTS and Codemasters have evaluated every driver on the 2026 Formula 1® roster to produce this year’s Driver Ratings.
Built using a blend of long-term race data, current form, and insights from broadcast analysts and experts, these ratings help shape how each AI driver behaves and competes on track during races.
What does each Rating category mean?
A driver’s Overall Rating (RTG) is based on a combination of factors, outlined below:
Experience (EXP): The number of races a driver has entered in their career.
Racecraft (RAC): A driver’s ability to work their way through the field.
Awareness (AWA): A measure of the driver’s ability to avoid incidents or penalties through a race.
Pace (PAC): How close a driver is to matching the fastest race and qualifying lap times for each race weekend.
Overall Rating (RTG): A combination of all stats, with pace having the biggest impact.
Ratings for some of the Drivers of F1®
Below you’ll see how some of the most prolific drivers of the 2026 season stack up. As mentioned, these ratings reflect performances from the opening races through to the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026.
There is no doubt that Antonelli has been one of the standout performers of the 2026 season so far. The young Mercedes driver has consistently delivered strong results and currently leads the World Championship. With this update, he has the biggest improvement of all, jumping 5 points to 88 Overall. He’s only being held back slightly by his Experience score of 71, which is based purely on how many races he has started compared to the longest serving drivers on the grid.
Lewis looks much more comfortable in the #44 Ferrari in 2026 with the lighter cars suiting his driving style, along with some tweaks to the braking system. His recent run of podiums means he jumps up 1 point Overall.
George was looking very strong at the end of 2025, and launched into 2026 with an outstanding victory in Melbourne. Antonelli has had the upper hand at Mercedes more recently though, so Russell drops 1 point Overall.
The World Champion has had a tricky start to the 2026 season and takes a small drop from 94 to 92 Overall in this new update.
The new star at Red Bull has continued to impress in the opening races of 2026. His Overall Rating gets a 1 point boost in this update.
New Zealand’s favourite racer has shown solid consistency so far in 2026 with a good run of points finishes since China that was only disrupted by a retirement in Miami. His Overall Rating is up 1 point.
Pierre has quietly had a very nice start to F1® 2026, scoring points for the improved Alpine team in all but one of the Grand Prix so far. He gets 1 extra point to his Overall Rating.
From F2 star to talented F1 prospect, Arvid gets the ratings jump he deserves after scoring his first points in the pinnacle of motorsport. His Overall Rating improves by 5 points, equalling Antonelli for the biggest boost in this update.
It has been a tough few opening rounds of 2026 for the Williams team with only a handful of points shared between its drivers, so Sainz takes a small 1 point deduction to his Overall Rating in this update.
Albon's Overall Rating decreases by 2 points in this update, reflecting Williams' challenging start to the 2026 season and the team's limited points haul across the opening rounds.
The new Audi team is still settling into life in F1®, but Bortoleto has shown good form in 2026. He scored points on Audi’s debut in Melbourne and has been consistently close to the top 10 in each race since. His Overall Rating is up 1 point.
Like Williams, Aston Martin are not yet where they want to be in the 2026 standings. That means Fernando, our most experienced driver, hasn’t really been able to demonstrate his talents so far this year, so he takes a small 1 point deduction Overall.
The all-American Cadillac team is pushing hard to establish itself on the F1® grid but it has been a challenging start and Bottas hasn’t quite been on the pace of teammate Perez so far. His Overall Rating drops 2 points with this update.
