The legendary Most Feared event is back with twisted treats and haunted tricks in Madden NFL 27 Mobile! But before you embark on this spooky quest to become the Most Feared, it’s Halloween season, and as the community says, everyone is entitled to one good scare(us too).

As you enter the game, you will instantly hear a haunting tune echoing in the home screen as the shadows sing and welcome you to the stadiums of Madden Mobile, draped in dark Halloween decorations.

But don’t freeze in the pocket just yet, we’ve turned terror into the biggest treat with this year’s spooky superstar and our new character: Ghostly Gary!

Ghosts just wanna have fun - Even Ghostly Gary!

The main objective of the Most Feared event is to complete challenges and receive rewards to level up Ghostly Gary into the ultimate touchdown scoring monster!

With Ghostly Gary on your squad, your trick-or-treat grind on the gridiron becomes a highlight reel, as he protects your squad and turns frightful challenges into delightful victories.

Wondering how you can bewitch him into your squad? We got you!

Spellbinding Alchemy in Brewing Blitz!

Your journey begins on the first map, Brewing Blitz. It’s styled around a mystical Cauldron that conjures a botanical brew. The alchemy happens based on the sequence in which you play its 7 nodes.

To brew this potion, you must collect 7 eerie Botanical Elements from these nodes: Bengal Fang (FANG), Raven Feather (FEA), Seeds of Gourd (SEED), Gloomcaps (GC), Witch Root (ROOT), Lantern Lily (LILY), and Haunted Turf (TURF).

You unlock them through Botanist tiers (Botanist I–III). Combine ingredients to create 38 unique Botanical Brew recipes to claim milestone rewards and high-tier value.  

The 38 Botanical Brew combinations turn item management into a puzzle. Try experimenting with Blitz nodes. Complete them in different orders to see which secret brews you can unlock. You never know what mysteries these combinations could unravel.

Gathering ingredients like Bengal Fangs and Witch Roots to unlock new recipes provides continuous satisfaction with rewards. Each Node will reward you with Most Feared Tokens and Points that help you in trades and progression of the event.

Collect all 7 elements early so you can solve all 38 Botanical Brew recipes! Remember, your Play limits reset daily at 10:30 AM ET.

This map plays a major role in how the Most Feared Event works, which we’ll discuss as we reach the final map. Before we reveal that, let’s talk about upgrading Ghostly Gary.

Enchant Ghostly Gary in Ghostly Groove!

Ghostly Groove is the place to be for Ghostly Gary. This is where you can upgrade him from Uncommon to Mythic, which is his Most Feared form, making everyone shiver on the football field.

When you are on the Ghostly Groove map, here’s what you can see:

On the right, the map tracks your progress as you complete event Achievements.

On the left, you'll find a meter that fills up as you collect Ectoplasm and complete Achievements. The more you fill, the higher rarity tiers of the Ghostly Gary card you unlock, earning massive attribute boosts as you increase its rarity!

Collect Ectoplasm to upgrade Ghostly Gary’s OVR, rarity, and boosts, all the way from Uncommon to Mythic! As you level him up, he doesn’t just get better; he boosts all the Most Feared Players, including Uncommon and Rare Players!

Complete Challenges, Trades, Successful Botanical Brews, and Achievements to earn more Ectoplasm. 

You might even discover a secret Ectoplasm hidden across the Gridiron Greenhouse Maze Map. You can also trade Spectral Essence for Ectoplasm, as it recharges over time. 

The mysteries of Ghostly Groove are truly a breath of fresh scare. They are tied to the following Achievements:

- Maze Master:  Defeat 3 mini bosses.

- We all score down here: Score 100 Touchdowns in Most Feared Challenges

- I see ghost people: Upgrade Ghostly Gary to Rare.

- No one can hear you scream in Madden: Acquire 3000x Most Feared Tokens

Complete all 4x Achievements to unlock a boss challenge for bonus rewards.

Gridiron Greenhouse - Your Choices, Your Game!

The Gridiron Greenhouse map is a massive living maze that offers continuous variety. This is where the real magic happens, as you get out of the Maze before it swallows you whole.

Forget the standard repetitive event loops; this event features 121-node grids that have 85 challenge nodes, 30 direct claim nodes, 3 mini-bosses, 1 main boss node, 3 reward chests, and an interactive statue node.

As you conquer the nodes, the mist clears, slowly unraveling the path that leads you to mini-bosses and a fearsome final boss!  Standard node victories reward 60 Most Feared Tokens and 17 Most Feared Points per win.

Forget the ghosts… Beware of Factions!

This year, we are introducing a brand-new system that is a core part of the Most Feared Event - The Reputation System. 4 haunting entities run the Most Feared Map: The Groundskeeper, the Botanist, the Warden, and the Steward.

This is where it all comes full circle. To sway these factions, you must dominate the Brewing Blitz map. Every day, 3 Achievements go live. Completing them grants you an Eerie Encounter pack depending on which Achievements were completed.

Upon opening the pack, you will encounter a question with 2 answers. These narrative choices have reputation effects, and depending on the answer you pick, it will increase one faction's reputation while decreasing another's.

The approval for each faction starts at 0. It increases when you complete scenarios and get corresponding Achievements. Also, approvals are tied to your current value rather than the total accumulated amount.

For example, if you gain +10 Groundskeeper approval, but make a choice that inflicts a -5 penalty, your active reputation drops to 5. You must maintain a net-positive score to cross Milestones!

Each faction will provide unique buffs for exploring the event and will improve each time the next milestone is reached.

Once these milestones are unlocked, they remain unlocked, even if the approval dips below the required amount after the buff has activated or the reward has been granted.

With every choice you encounter, your decisions will affect your standing with the four factions. Raising approval unlocks tier achievements, including 4 exclusive Ghost Milestone rewards for the Steward role or unlocking further nodes like Haunted Turf in the Brewing Blitz Map for the Botanist role.

So beware, every move you make, and every step you take... they will be watching you!

As with any haunting challenge, if you want to scare your rivals, you will need players who are the Most Feared! If you wanna become the Most Feared, if you want to compete at the absolute highest level, terrorizing your opponent’s offense with these defensive giants is a must.

A spooky Field Pass of Fear!

As if Most Feared wasn't terrifying enough, you already know about the Field of Fear Field Pass!

We got spooktacular player cards like Jack Clowney and Frank Gourd that will bring nightmares to opponents’ defenses. And on top of that, we have the Field of Fear Marvel Players: James Harrison and Jason Kelce! As the rarest and most powerful items in the game, Marvel tier cards represent the peak of building a squad, and having them in your lineup is the ultimate recipe for gridiron dominance.
