Set sail for sun-drenched shores, whitewashed villages, ancient palaces, and sparkling blue waters, Mayors! The new Greek Islands Mayor’s Pass Season brings the timeless beauty of Greece to SimCity BuildIt for a limited time.

The Greek Islands season begins on August 19, 2026 at 06:00 UTC and ends on September 16, 2026 at 06:00 UTC. Mayor’s Pass seasonal content is available to players at city level 11 and above.

How to Take Part

New to Mayor’s Pass Seasons? Head to the Contest HQ and complete Assignments to earn Mayor’s Pass Points. These points help you advance through the Season’s reward Tiers and collect new buildings, currencies, and other useful rewards.

The Free Reward Track is available to all eligible Mayors and offers rewards at selected Tiers. The optional Premium Mayor’s Pass adds a reward at every Tier and gives access to additional buildings. Premium Mayor’s Pass+ also unlocks special reward slots at the end of the Premium track.

Build Your Own Greek Island Escape

Progress through the Season to discover architecture inspired by different corners and eras of Greece.

Create a magnificent island skyline with the warm terracotta domes of the Agios Nektarios Monastery, the stately elegance of Achilleion Palace, and the grand civic square of Syros Town Hall. Add history and strength with the imposing Grand Master's Palace, or bring the shoreline to life with the colorful Milos Syrmata, nestled beside rocky waters.

The wider Greek Islands collection also includes dramatic and relaxing destinations such as the Cliffside Retreats, Achilleion Gardens, Santorini's Red Beach, Samothraki Pools, Government House, the mysterious Blue Caves, and a traditional Cycladic Windmill.

You can even bring the island theme to your city services with the Port Authority Station, which features multiple upgrade levels

Restore the Legendary Knossos Palace

One of the Season’s grandest landmarks is the Knossos Palace, inspired by the splendor of the ancient Minoan world.

The Palace can be upgraded through 15 levels, becoming larger and more impressive as you progress. Major visual transformations take place at Levels 9 and 15, allowing you to watch the historic site grow from ancient foundations into a magnificent palace complex.

Welcome Sims to Greek Homes

The Greek Islands theme also introduces Greek Homes, a new Residential Building filled with whitewashed buildings, colorful details, terraces, gardens, pools, and iconic blue domes.

Greek Homes can develop through four building levels, with 10 different building designs and multiple color variations. Your neighborhoods can evolve from peaceful island cottages into lively quarters and impressive seaside estates.

Greek Homes unlock separately at city level 6, so some Mayors may be able to begin creating their island neighborhoods before reaching the level required for the Mayor’s Pass Season.
