About the game

Privateer 2: The Darkening is a definitive example of PC gaming expression during the mid-1990s. Featuring Clive Owen, John Hurt, and Christopher Walken in FMV cutscenes, Privateer 2 pushed the space combat genre forward with its unique blend of open-world gameplay, worldbuilding, and cinematic storytelling. Now celebrated in this special 30th Anniversary Edition, the game has been restored in collaboration with the dedicated community to deliver a must-see experience. The 30th Anniversary Edition is the ultimate way to enjoy one of the most important franchises in gaming history.
