Welcome to Tale of Knights, where you'll build the fantasy kingdom you've always imagined. Construct majestic castles, lively village squares, cozy taverns, grand libraries, and more as you transform your SimTown into a storybook realm. Whether you're forging legendary weapons, hosting feasts worthy of royalty, or wandering through medieval markets, every reward helps bring your own kingdom to life.

The Kingdom Isn't the Only Thing That's New

Tale of Knights isn't just packed with castles, quests, and fantasy adventures. This update also introduces the all-new Season Pass, a brand new way to earn rewards as you play.

You’ll also get a first look at our refreshed Build Mode, which will be available to a small group of players for the duration of this update while we continue gathering feedback and refining the experience. Make sure to keep an eye out in future updates for more information on its development.

Season Pass

Every update introduces a new theme to The Sims FreePlay. But what if there were more ways to experience that theme beyond individual events?

That's where Season Pass comes in. Season Pass is the evolution of Daily Tasks and the Weekly Streak rewards. Each Daily Task you complete now earns Season Pass Points, which move you through 60 tiers of rewards: currencies, useful resources, and Build Mode and Create-A-Sim items themed to the update.

This replaces the Weekly Streak rewards. Your progress no longer resets every week. Everything you do builds towards the full season.

We’re also adding Season Tasks, longer-term goals across the season that give you another way to earn Season Pass Points alongside your daily play. 

The Free Pass includes Tale of Knights-themed Build Mode and Create-a-Sim rewards, alongside Life Points, Social Points, Simoleons, Mystery Box Keys, Cupcakes, and other items to support your journey throughout the update.

Looking to dive even deeper into Tale of Knights? Upgrade to the optional Premium Pass to unlock an expanded reward track featuring exclusive rewards, including the grand Castle Gatehouse, the iconic Bella D'Arc Statue, and an Archery Target fit for your kingdom's aspiring knights. Reach the final tier to unlock Ivory Keep, a magnificent castle-inspired Home Lot.

Designed to reward your everyday gameplay, the Season Pass lets you make progress across the update while working towards exciting rewards at your own pace. 

Build Mode Refresh: A Preview of What’s in Development

We're currently working on a refreshed Build Mode designed to make building and decorating easier than ever.

During Tale of Knights, a small group of players will receive access to the refreshed experience while we gather feedback and continue refining it. This will help us better understand how players use the new features and shape where Build Mode goes next.

While the refreshed Build Mode won't be available to everyone just yet, our latest Developer Update offers a closer look at what’s changing, including improvements to Inventory and navigation, as well as an introduction to the brand-new Search feature.

Influence Island: The Royal Smith-Off

The forge is burning, and the kingdom's finest blacksmith is ready for their next masterpiece.  Step into the forge and craft a workshop worthy of the realm's finest weaponsmith.

Build an authentic smithy with the Forge, sturdy anvils, weapon racks, and gleaming Castle Blades. Forge your own sword, test your skills in a friendly duel, and bring the kingdom's busiest workshop to life. 

SimChase: Trial by Fire

Any knight can swing a sword, but only a true protector of the realm can earn the trust of a fire-breathing hatchling. Prove your courage and try not to get singed! 

Unlock the Castle Spiral Stairs, Castle Throne, and grand castle furnishings to create a royal interior fit for the throne room. Complete the look with majestic knight's armor, regal gowns, and choose between a Ruby Dragon or an Obsidian Dragon pet worthy of any fantasy kingdom. 

SimChase: The Queen’s Fair!

The kingdom is buzzing as merchants, entertainers, and townsfolk gather for the Queen's grand fair. 

Fill your village with colorful Market Stalls, a charming Carriage, the elegant Royal Festival Pavilion, and delightful fairground décor. Stop by to pat or feed the fair's friendly horse before wandering through the kingdom's biggest celebration. 

Craft Challenge: On Regal Grounds

Every great kingdom deserves royal grounds worthy of its rulers. Build a magnificent courtyard fit for a monarch with a grand Castle Fountain, elegant Ivy Pillars, colorful royal banners, a charming Castle Well, and the stunning Regal Greenhouse.

Complete your royal grounds with majestic king and queen attire, matching crowns, and elegant finishing touches worthy of the throne.

SimChase: Courting Trouble

After a long day of quests and tournaments, the kingdom's tavern is the perfect place to unwind... or steal someone's heart.

Fill your tavern with rustic Tavern Tables, hanging tavern signs, and hearty roast feasts. From heartfelt lute serenades to lively table-top dancing, it's the perfect place for your kingdom's stories to unfold. 

SimChase: The Royal Archives

Hidden behind the castle walls lies the kingdom's greatest collection of knowledge.

Build a grand royal library with towering bookcases, a Castle Drafting Table, and cozy reading nooks. Curl up with a good book while the Tuxedo Tabby Cat wanders the shelves, turning every corner into the kingdom's most welcoming library… and did we mention the cat?

Hobby Event: On the Fence!

Time to freshen up your home's exterior. Put your woodworking skills to work and refresh your home's exterior with a collection of stylish fences, matching gates, windows, and doors.

Pregnancy Pack 53

Prepare for your newest royal arrival with a fairytale-inspired nursery. Complete the Pregnancy Event to earn the Baby Bonus and unlock a beautifully carved wooden cot, a matching high chair, a whimsical dragon mobile, a charming castle dollhouse, and a medieval-inspired maternity outfit.

Influence Island: Secretly Smitten

Love is in the air, but someone needs a little push in the right direction. Unlock a romantic writing desk with a love letter interaction, elegant bookshelves, a buffet table, and charming décor perfect for your Sims' next happily ever after. 

Influence Island: Romantics Anonymous

Some hearts just need a little encouragement. Win romantic-inspired rewards, including a cozy fireplace, elegant lighting, stylish coffee tables, and decorative pieces to create the ultimate date-night retreat. 

SimChase: Curios Conspirator!

Step into a refined Victorian manor where elegance meets timeless charm. Fill your Sims' home with plush Academia sofas, an elegant king bed, a classic music box, richly patterned manor rugs, and sophisticated décor. Then, complete the look with a graceful senior hairstyle and formal Victorian fashion. 

Influence Island: Polished Pursuit

Bring a touch of luxury into every room with sleek bathroom furnishings, polished finishes, and sophisticated décor that transforms everyday spaces into elegant retreats.

Hair Hobby Event: Mean Curls

Big curls, bold confidence. Master the Fashion Designer Hobby to unlock a collection of stylish curly hairstyles perfect for giving your Sims a fresh new look.

Craft Challenge: Mysterious Masquerade

Host an unforgettable masquerade with glamorous gowns, elegant masks, lavish ballroom décor, and dramatic furnishings worthy of a night of mystery and celebration. 

Pregnancy Pack 40

A cozy countryside nursery returns for another chance to earn it. Complete the Pregnancy Event to unlock warm western-inspired maternity fashion, rustic nursery furnishings, and charming family-focused rewards.

Influence Island: Stitched Up

Needles, thread, and a little creativity go a long way. Influence your rivals to unlock sewing-inspired décor, crafting essentials, and cozy furnishings perfect for every creative Sim.

Craft Challenge: Arthouse Nouveau

Bring timeless elegance home with flowing Art Nouveau architecture, beautifully crafted furniture, decorative lighting, and stunning interiors inspired by one of history's most iconic design styles.
