The World’s Debate

Earned through every performance. EA SPORTS FC™ 27 makes Ratings more connected to real-world football than ever before.

Starting 15 August, look out for daily reveals, including the 27 highest-rated men's and women's players, Club Star Ratings, players from the biggest leagues in world football, and more. At the end of the week, explore the Ratings Database to see stats for every base Player Item in FC  27. 

Then, once the international transfer window has closed and the squads for the new season are confirmed, look out for the final update to the EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ratings Database in September, along with their Playstyles.

Football Ultimate Team™ Destined for Glory

FC 27 kicks off the season’s first Football Ultimate Team™ Campaign, shaped by the FC community. Starting 21 August, head to the Ratings Database and vote for the players you believe are set to define the season by making the biggest impact on the pitch. Your votes will help to decide the first Destined for Glory Squad, with featured Player Items receiving live upgrades based on real-world performance.

How to vote:

• Find a player you believe will shine in this year’s FUT™ season
• Select the ‘Vote’ button beside your chosen player

Voting is open to everyone. Any player in the Ratings Database is eligible to receive votes, and you may vote for as many players as you like.

Destined for Glory FAQ

What do we mean by “define the season”?

• Whether you expect them to break out, make an immediate impact at a new club, lead their team, or become one of the biggest stars this season, have your voice heard in the Ratings Database. 

How are Destined for Glory Players selected?

• Community voting will help shape the final Destined for Glory Squad. 

Does my vote matter?

• Yes. Your vote helps shape the final Destined for Glory Squad. 

Who can I vote for?

• Every player in the Ratings Database is eligible to receive votes. 

How many players can I vote for?

• There is no limit. Vote for as many players as you believe will define the season. 

When can I vote?

• Voting is open from 21 August - 10 September, 2026. 

When does Destined for Glory launch?

• The campaign runs from 25 September - 9 October, 2026. 

Item Rarity

As announced in the Football Ultimate Team™ Deep Dive, FC 27 updates how base Item rarity works, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold Items no longer appearing as Common or Rare. As the FC 27 player ratings are revealed, you’ll see Items classified simply as Bronze, Silver, or Gold. You can learn more about this change here:
