Hooks are a close range strike used to cause heavy damage. Use a Hook to catch an opponent who tends to move right or left often. Body hooks can often be used in succession within combos, to deliver high damage.

**Inputs:**

^LB^ + ^X^ or ^Y^ (Hold ^LT^ for Body)

Overhands are the most damaging punches available, but also cost the most Stamina so throw them wisely. If the opponent is turtling up, try throwing an overhand after a few jabs, to blast through the block.

**Inputs:**

^LB^ + ^X_HOLD^ or ^Y_HOLD^

Uppercuts are a close range strike used to counter an opponent who is leaning forward or attempting a takedown. Uppercuts to the body pack a lot of power, even as a single strike.

**Inputs:**

^RB^ + ^X^ or ^Y^ (Hold ^LT^ for Body)

Uppercuts


Straights are utilized mostly as an intercepting strike or a start to a combination. Use your Straight to intercept an opponent who is throwing Hooks or Overhands.
