What makes “The Soldier of God” stand out is the combination of elite wrestling pedigree, freakish explosiveness, and a fighting style that doesn’t seem dangerous until it’s too late. An Olympic silver medalist with devastating knockout power, Romero tends to spend long stretches reading an opponent and ‘reloading’ his energy before exploding with a fight-changing strike.

At UFC 221, that unpredictability was on full display. He stayed patient against Luke Rockhold, then closed the show with a brutal third-round knockout. Romero’s mix of world-class wrestling, inhuman athleticism, and sudden explosiveness made him one of the most unique and intimidating middleweights of that era.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

**EXPLODE INTO RANGE** – Stay patient, then burst forward with powerful combinations when an opening appears.

**THREATEN THE TAKEDOWN** – Use Yoel’s elite wrestling to keep opponents guessing and create opportunities on the feet.

**MAKE EVERY SHOT COUNT** – Conserve stamina, pick your moments, and pounce with fight-changing power strikes.

Watch your legs and feet around “The Clean Monster”. A rising force in the UFC heavyweight division, bringing imposing size, relentless pressure, and a dangerous grappling game to the Octagon. This Brazilian heavyweight looks to overwhelm opponents with Powerful takedowns and a submission game that has given him five finishes in a row, four by heelhook.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

**PRESSURE FORWARD** – Close the distance, force grappling exchanges, and keep opponents on the back foot.

**CONTROL ON THE GROUND** – Get takedowns and use pressure on top to drain stamina and dictate the pace.

**HUNT THE FINISH** – Capitalize on grappling advantages and look for submission opportunities once the fight hits the ground.

An explosive featherweight known for his elite wrestling, heavy hands, and relentless pressure. With a decorated wrestling background and fight-ending power, Pico blends high-level grappling with aggressive striking, making him a complete mixed martial artist and dangerous wherever the fight goes.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

**PUSH THE PACE** – Stay aggressive, pressure forward, and create finishing opportunities with speed and power.

**MIX UP THE ATTACK** – Blend explosive boxing combinations with level changes to keep opponents guessing.

**WRESTLE WITH PURPOSE** – Use powerful takedowns, top control, and ground strikes to dictate where the fight takes place.

Quillan Salkilld walked into his promotional debut in Sydney, touched gloves with his opponent, and sent him straight to the shadow realm before the commentary team could even finish introducing him. Time elapsed: 19 seconds. Bonus check: Cashed. Contrary to popular belief, his parents do not own a bakery.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

**Blitz from the Opening Bell (First-Round Pressure) -** Overwhelm your opponent with strikes before they find their rhythm. Salkilld thrives on instant offense. By coming out guns blazing and cutting off the cage immediately, you force your opponent into defensive panic mode, which should help Quillan find the finish quickly.

If you like pinpoint precision, blistering hand speed, and fighters who treat the Octagon like a chessboard, meet London’s own Lone'er Kavanagh. A 5-time kickboxing world champion turned UFC flyweight sensation with ice in his veins.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

**Smooth Stance Switching & Feint Overload -** Switch between orthodox and southpaw to alter angles and create visual noise with twitchy feints. Changing looks constantly messes with your opponent's defensive timing and leaves them open to unpredictable strikes.

Facing a towering 6'8" opponent for the vacant UFC Heavyweight Title, Mir pulled guard and secured an armbar just seconds into the fight. When his opponent attempted to escape, Mir cranked on the arm, breaking his forearm in four places. The ref immediately saw the break and halted the bout at the 50-second mark of the fight.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

Focus on Frank Mir’s strengths, prioritize an aggressive submission strategy that exploits his elite grappling and submission offense/defense, along with his specialized BJJ perks. With his Bottom Game rating at 100 and high-level BJJ Get-Ups, Sweeps, and Transitions, Mir is just as dangerous off his back as he is on top.

Recognized as one of the most decorated lower-weight fighters in combat sports history, Kyoji Horiguchi combines lightning-fast Karate footwork with surgical striking and sharp grappling. Horiguchi got his start in MMA under the guidance of the legendary "Kid" Yamamoto, adopting part of his nickname as a tribute to his mentor. Today, the Japanese star trains in Florida alongside world-class training partners like Alexandre Pantoja.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

To maximize Kyoji Horiguchi's strengths, players should focus on a high-speed, distance-management striking strategy

Footwork & In-and-Out Distance Management

Leverage Horiguchi's unique Karate stance and high movement speed to dart in and out of striking range before opponents can set up counters

Precision Blitz Combos & Counter-Striking

Capitalize on Horiguchi's rapid-fire hand speed by launching quick 2-to-3-punch blitzes before quickly stepping out of range to reset for another blitz when the time is right.

Explosive Takedown Defense & Scramble Transitions

Use Horiguchi's elite takedown defense and athleticism to deny takedown attempts from wrestle-heavy fighters, immediately scrambling back to the feet.

If you’re a UFC Heavyweight, don’t make “The Incredible Hok” angry; you won’t like him when he’s ANGRY! An undefeated American heavyweight mixed martial artist and former multi-sport collegiate athlete. Before competing in MMA, Hokit was a Division I All-American wrestler in college who also spent time on pro football practice squads. At UFC 327, Hokit defeated Curtis Blaydes via unanimous decision, setting the all-time UFC heavyweight record for most combined significant strikes in a single fight (351 landed).

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

To maximize Josh Hokit's strengths, players should focus on a heavy-pressure, wrestling-centric strategy:

Relentless Takedown Offense

Capitalize on Hokit's elite Division I wrestling base to mix up entries, initiate clinch drives along the cage, and take down striking heavyweights before they settle into a rhythm.

Smothering Top Control & Ground-and-Pound

Once on the mat, utilize Hokit's heavy top pressure to deny transitions, reduce your opponent's stamina, and unleash high-damage ground-and-pound strikes.

Intelligent Forward Pressure & Pocket Entry

Use Hokit's superior athletic pace to cut off space, trap opponents against the cage, and force uncomfortable exchanges where his physical strength gives him the advantage.

Highly touted for his exceptional cardio, technical southpaw striking, and well-rounded skill set, UFC Hall of Famer Rich Franklin is a true pioneer of modern MMA. The former high school math teacher helped bring MMA into the mainstream during its mid-2000s boom. Possessing an uncanny resemblance to a certain fictional pet detective, “Ace” traded the classroom for the Octagon to become one of the most dominant middleweight champions of his era.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:**

To maximize Rich Franklin's strengths, players should focus on a disciplined, fast-paced, southpaw striking strategy with well-timed grappling mix-ups:

Southpaw Stance & Straight Left Precision

Use Franklin’s technical southpaw stance to set up sharp 1-2 combinations, leading with the jab to open up the straight left down the pipe.

Relentless Cardio & Pace Management

Capitalize on Franklin’s high stamina to maintain a high volume of output across all rounds, wearing down opponents who rely on explosive early bursts.

Clinch Control & Dirty Boxing Mix-Ups

Blend striking with clinch entries to shut down aggressive brawlers, using knees and short hooks in close range to break up their rhythm.

Conor McGregor turned the Octagon into his domain with a rare mix of precision striking, fearless swagger, and undeniable presence. After storming into the Octagon in 2013, he tore through the featherweight ranks, beat Chad Mendes for interim gold, then shocked the world by knocking out José Aldo in just 13 seconds to become undisputed Featherweight Champion.

He later made history at UFC 205 by stopping Eddie Alvarez to become the first fighter to hold two UFC titles at the same time. From his iconic piston of a left hand to his 40-second comeback win over Cowboy, The Notorious' UFC career is defined by bold predictions, massive moments, and a legacy as one of the sport's most electrifying icons.

Max Holloway built one of the UFC’s greatest legacies with relentless volume, elite boxing, and unbreakable Hawaiian toughness. He claimed interim featherweight gold by stopping Anthony Pettis at UFC 206, then marched into Brazil and finished José Aldo at UFC 212 to become the undisputed UFC featherweight champion.

Holloway defended his crown against Aldo, Brian Ortega, and Frankie Edgar, later delivering a record-setting striking masterclass against Calvin Kattar. Years after his title reign, “Blessed” added another iconic chapter by knocking out Justin Gaethje in the final seconds at UFC 300 to win the BMF belt, then defending it against Dustin Poirier at UFC 318, proving that the best is Blessed.

The Doctor is in! Uroš Medić enters UFC 6 with surgical striking, sharp finishing instincts, and the kind of dynamic offense that can change a fight in an instant. With a fast-paced and pressure-heavy stand-up game, Medić is a perfect addition for players who like to bring the fight to their opponents and hunt for highlight-reel finishes.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:** Uroš Medić is at his best when he’s attacking with speed, precision, and serious finishing intent. His hands are fast and dangerous, making him a major threat in quick pocket exchanges where he can beat opponents to the punch and land clean before they can respond. Players should look to pressure intelligently, mix in sharp combinations, and use his striking speed to create openings for heavy damage.

His kicking game adds another dangerous layer. Use powerful kicks to manage distance, punish forward movement, and force opponents to respect attacks from range. When the opportunity opens up, Medić can turn a clean connection into a fight-changing moment. So, strike first, stay sharp in boxing exchanges, mix punches with powerful kicks, and overwhelm opponents with fast, explosive offense.

WE did it! Kevin Vallejos joins the roster as an exciting new prospect with speed, creativity, and a rising-star mentality. His well-rounded skill set and aggressive approach make him a fresh option for players looking to bring energy, movement, and momentum into every round.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:** Kevin Vallejos brings dangerous finishing power, fast hands, and the movement to control where exchanges happen. He is at his best when he stays light on his feet, cuts sharp angles, and uses quick entries to land clean before opponents can settle into their rhythm. His punching threat makes every exchange risky, especially when he can step in, fire combinations, and exit before taking damage back.

Players should use his fast footwork to stay unpredictable, create openings, and force opponents to chase. Once they overcommit, Vallejos can punish with fast, explosive counters and heavy shots that can quickly shift the momentum of the fight. ****

TLDR: Stay mobile, control the distance, strike fast, punish mistakes, and use explosive boxing to turn clean openings into fight-changing damage.

If you’ve been around the Octagon long enough, Tank Abbott needs no introduction. A legend of the early UFC era, Tank brings brute force, bad intentions, and old-school knockout chaos to UFC 6. With sledgehammers for hands, a fearless brawling style, and a presence as powerful as his nickname, Tank rolls through his opponents and turns every exchange into a firefight for their survival.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:** Tank Abbott is at his best when he turns the fight into a close-range brawl. His biggest advantage is his ability to end exchanges with one clean punch, so players should look to pressure forward, cut off space, and force opponents into the pocket. Tank can tank damage and keep moving forward, making him dangerous in chaotic stand-up moments where both fighters are trading heavy shots.

On the ground, Tank remains a serious threat with punishing ground-and-pound. Look to capitalize after knockdowns, stay heavy on top, and finish the fight with brutal follow-up strikes.

In short, walk opponents down, force the pocket exchange, trust Tank’s toughness, and punish every opening with fight-ending power.

**UFC 6 Keys to Victory:** Be technical, pick your moments to go on offense, and make every counter count. Use Zahabi’s sharp striking fundamentals to control exchanges, punish openings with clean shots, and lean on his black belt-level grappling when the fight hits the mat.
